Upregulation of gray mold-induced plant genes in uninfected rachis tissue

چکیده

Molecular detection of infections is normally performed by searching for the DNA pathogen in infected tissues. We consider possibility detecting an ongoing infection analyzing systemic response. The genes coding FAD-binding domain-containing protein and two Cytochrome P450s were upregulated visually healthy tissue pathogen-inoculated leaves at 24 48 hours post infection, both during tip side leaflet inoculations. upregulation these was statistically not different between rachis inoculation spot. results suggest to sense B. cinerea single measuring plant gene expression rachis-derived samples.

Analysis of Clonostachys rosea-Induced Resistance to Tomato Gray Mold Disease in Tomato Leaves

Tomato gray mold disease, caused by Botrytis cinerea, is a serious disease in tomato. Clonostachys rosea is an antagonistic microorganism to B. cinerea. To investigate the induced resistance mechanism of C. rosea, we examined the effects of these microorganisms on tomato leaves, along with changes in the activities of three defense enzymes (PAL, PPO, GST), second messengers (NO, H2O2, O2(-)) an...

Plant medicine in the treatment of radiation-induced normal tissue lesions-A review

Radiation-induced normal tissue lesions, once seen as a consequence of loss of proliferative integrity of clonogenic target cells, inevitable and untreatable are now viewed as a result of dynamic interactions between multiple cell lines within a particular tissue that can be intervened. Normal tissue damage is the most important limiting factor in radiotherapy and a major component in the medic...

The Chemistry of Mold Tissue

For some time we have been investigating the nitrogenous constituents of the mycelium of Aspergillus sydowi by the use of a systematic fractionation scheme. The isolation of the three diamino acids, arginine, histidine, and lysine, during the course of this fractionation has been previously reported (1). In this paper will be described the isolation and identification of two monoaminodicarboxy ...
